age: 16+ but usually read by 30-40+
gender: male
social grade:
Ethnicity: white
Interests: cars
Masthead: The words used in the mast ahead says
DAVE GROHL
this woud suggest the target audience because they would like to find out stuff about DAVE GROHl and other headlines
they typeography would represent the middle age male audience because its simple it has no weird font style.
the colours that have ben used are simple and they are not overly bright but they are still simple which their regular audience know and like the simple colors
the colours that have been used are black, red, white, blue, yellow
these colours show that the magazine makers(mojo) have put some colour in their magazines to make them stand out to gain new readers and they used these colours so it also looks simple
the layout looks a little cramped but they got everything thst they needed on the front page in a bigger font size than they needed
this layout is to atacct new audinces because when they see it they could think that because the cover is cramped the magazine has alot inside
the main image on the front is a up close image of DAVE GROHL making him take up most of the cover the
image would probably be with profesional lighting
he has a serious expression
with his pose they have put headlines around his body lining them up with his shoulders
this would attract audiences that are familiar with him or want to know about him
the magazine has a few teasers on the cover souch as the picture of dave, it says in the top left corner of the screen which claims it comes with a free cd of something...
in the top right corner there is a small low angle picture of David Gilmore with red stripes covering it because red shows masculinity
the language that they use i would probably asume that they would use foul language e.g swearing because of the male audience it would probably be informal this would be because of the people reading this magazine would usually be 16+
For the red of the cover there is a lot of headlines around the whole magazine and there are the free cd in side and the picture of David Gilmore
these features are quite big
bigger than they should be but they probably done that to be eye catching for new audiences
